JIM TAYLOR (writer) hails from Bellevue, Washington. He attended Pomona College and received his M.F.A. from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Taylor has collaborated previously with Alexander Payne on Citizen Ruth and Election, and is preparing to make his directing debut in 2003.
